Baby Barbarian
Lead Developer
game development
Built from the ground up in Unity.
Characters, level, and gameplay were designed with the original comic book in mind to allow the reader to experience the world of Lethomme in a new immersive way.
coding | C#
Almost everything you see in the game is called through code. From controlling and modifying the animations and sounds, to Brom's movement and the spider's charge attack.
Testing, identifying, and debugging. One of my favorite techniques to debug quickly is to learn how to replicate the bug.
character animations | UI
Created all of the character and enemy animations with a frame-by-frame technique in Adobe Photoshop.
Imported sprite sheets to Unity, and brought to life through script and the Unity Animator.
Title screen and animated objectives list created in Photoshop.
cinematics
Created cinematics in both Unity and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Brought the comic book to life through sound and animating pages directly from the comic.
sound design
Diggin' in the crates. Sourced most of the audio from OpenArt.org as well as Adobe Stock.
Used Adobe Audition to mix and edit the audio/sfx clips to create a more immersive sound experience within the game.
Implemented spatial audio to add depth to the scene.
